Pastor Robert Lee (Bob) Morlan, age 77, of Apache Junction, Arizona, formerly of Salem passed away in Arizona on January 27th with his wife and son at his side.

Pastor Morlan was a 1962 graduate of Salem Community High School. Upon graduation, he joined the US Army and served honorably in the Signal Corps.

On Jan 10, 1966, he married (Watson) of New Lenox, IL. They were blessed with adopting two children.

In his early 30's Bob gave his life to Christ and soon after attended Southwest Baptist College in Bolivar Mo. where he received his Bachelors and Liberty University where he received his Masters.

Bob and his wife served faithfully at Grace Fellowship Church in Mokena for 25 years (a church that he had ultimately founded) as well as pastoring smaller churches in his early ministry.

In his retirement, Bob and his wife moved to Apache Junction where he served as pastor until his death. He was a good and faithful servant and will be dearly missed until we meet again

He was preceded in death by his father Earl Morlan, his mother Elsa Delehanty, two sisters Peggy Hayes and Judith Chrum and brother David Morlan, father-in-law Ray Watson and mother-in-law Irene Watson.

He will be interred with military rights at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
