QUAKER CITY, March 7.- Word was received here Wednesday by Isaac Eagon and brother, Jasper Eagon, of East main street, apprising them of the death of a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Long, aged 82 years. Death occurred at her home in Lake City, Iowa, Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock. The deceased with her husband, W. B. Long and their family, at one time resided south of town, but a number of years ago located in the west, where the husband passed away eight years ago. She leaves to morn her departure, three sons, all married living near the home. One son is deceased. She also leaves the following brothers and sisters; Mrs. Luella Tywford, of Sistersville, W. Va.; Mrs. Mary Anne Carpenter, of Batesville, and Mrs. Sarah Roe, Jasper and Isaac Eagon, of Quaker City; C. V. Eagon, of Cambridge; Harvey and William Eagon of Newcomerstown, besides a host of relative and friends. The deceased visited her relatives here last fall and attended the Eagon reunion. Her death is thought to have been sudden as a letter from her had been received here just a few days previous. Burial will be made in her western home city.
