John G. Vaughan of New Bloomfield Dies
Funeral Services Thursday afternoon at Dry Fork Church
John G. Vaughan, 92 year old resident of New Bloomfield, died Tuesday evening at his home. He had been ill for the last six years.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Dry Fork Baptist Church, with Rev. Lloyd Sapp officiating.
Mr. Vaughan was born July 22, 1855 in Boone County, a son of John Sandy and Elizabeth Bullard Vaughan. On October 1, 1878, he was married to Miss Caroline M. Dorton, who with four children preceded him in death.
He is survived by four children; A.T. Vaughan, and Mrs. H.B. Hudson of Ashland, J.W. Vaughan, and Mrs. J.D. Nichols of New Bloomfield, seventeen grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
