Benny Paul Crowder was the next to the last of eight children born to Omer Vernon Crowder and Pauline Hope Comstock Crowder on June 22 1943. He had two living brothers, Joe Dean & Clifford Crowder and two sisters, Norma Lee & Martha Jane Crowder. Two older brothers, Evert Don & Blaine Dale Crowder died before he was born. Sadly, at the age of 6 months and 7 days, Benny Paul died from pneumonia from the flu.
