ALSATIA - Funeral services for Hubert Allen Boughton, 64, of Transylvania were to be today at 4 p.m. at the Melbourne Baptist Church here with the Rev. Paul Carter and the Rev. Marvin Stone officiating.
Burial was to be in the Providence Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Kidder-Cox Funeral Home in Lake Providence.
Mr. Boughton died Sunday morning at his residence following a lengthy illness.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary Ersel Boughton, Transylvania; two sons, Fred Sherman Boughton, Transylvania, and James Allen Boughton, Lake Providence; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Virginia Patrick, Brookhaven, Miss.; two brothers, Fred Gipson Boughton, Shreveport, and Calvin F. Hightower, Metarie; six grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Hulan Fairchild, Lester Johns, Ed Rushing, Bobby Rawls, Terrel Thompson and Shelby Holmes.
