This grave was originally unmarked in the Greene Cemetery above Bee Run behind the Sutton Dam. All of the 13 graves in the cemetery (No 18) were relocated by the US Army Corps of Engineers in 1959/60 to the brand new Braxton County Memorial Cemetery prior to the completion of the Dam. The original site was rendered inaccessible.
