Vinita Louise White, age 61, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.

Vinita was born on December 15, 1960, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Ulysses Samuel Adair, Sr. and Georgia Marie (Ledman) Adair. She grew up and attended school in Nowata, Oklahoma and in Coffeyville where she graduated from Field Kindley Memorial High School.

Vinita was a kind and caring person. She became a licensed certified nurse's aide and spent many years taking care of other people. She touched the lives of all those she met and cared for. Vinita was a member of St Johns Church of Faith in Coffeyville. She loved spending time with her family and friends.

In February of 2002 she was united in marriage to Thomas White. The couple made their home in Coffeyville. Mr. White preceded her in death in June 2017.

Vinita is survived by her daughters, Brandy Gibson and Alexis Adair of Independence, Kansas, six grandchildren, siblings, Windell Adair, Ulysses Adair, Jr., Oletha Adair, Zabrina Adair, Shirley Adair and Alberta Marshall along with a host of other nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ulysses and Georgia Adair, husband, Thomas White, brothers, Donald Joe Adair and Sylvester Eugene Adair, sisters, Cora Jean Miller and Donna Reynolds and nephew, Charles McDaniel.
