Mary E. Amenta formerly of Des Plaines A memorial Mass for Mary E. Amenta (nee McNamara), 81, of Clearwater, Fla., will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at Queen of the Rosary Church, 750 Elk Grove Blvd., Elk Grove Village. Inurnment will be private in All Saints Cemetery. Born in Chicago, she died peacefully in her sleep Sunday, May 22, 2005, surrounded by those she loved. Mary was the beloved wife of the late Leonard H., who passed away in 2002; loving mother of Cheryl A. (Leonard) Calderon and Linda L. (Kenneth) Wickham; cherished grandmother of Michael Calderon, Justin Gantenbein, Aaron Arthur, Chad and Tyler Wickham, and the late Charles Gantenbein; and fond sister of Kathrine Keslinke, the late Ginger Jones and the late Tisha Lynch. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Northeastern Illinois, 410 S. Hager Ave., Barrington, IL 60010. Arrangements were made by Grove Memorial Chapel, Elk Grove Village, 847-640-0566.
