Beloved mother, Little-Star Martorella, passed away at the age of 64 on December 31, 2021. Memorial services will be held January 15, 2022 at 10:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 56885 Onaga Trail, Yucca Valley, CA. Little Star will be laid to rest with her husband, Louis and daughter Misty in the Riverside National Cemetery.
Little-Star was born on January 9, 1957 in Los Angeles, CA to Sunshine and Emil Sitka, the was the youngest of seven children. She grew up in Southern California and graduating from…high school. She went on to study at ….to be a nursing assistant and worked in the health care field for many years.
Little-Star married Louis Martorella, a US Special Forces Veteran, on November 7, 1981, She and Louis raised their daughters Misty and Rainbow in Rialto, CA where Little-Star devoted her time and nursing expertise to taking care of her daughter Misty and her mother Sunshine.
Little Star enjoyed dance in college and was an avid reader. She loved her pets and enjoyed taking long walks and watching movies with family. She put her family first, devoting herself to their care. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Little-Star had a testimony of eternal families and her Savior Jesus Christ.
She is survived by her brothers EEloka, Rudy, Storm, Darrow and Saxon and her daughter Rainbow. She was preceded in death by her husband Louis, daughter Misty, brother Tao, and her mother and father.
