Ethel Andrews Sorci passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 3, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Leon P. Sorci. Loving mother of Elizabeth Sorci Hunter, Dr. Mary Sorci Thomas and Barbara Sorci Marshall. Grandmother of 5. She was a charter member of the Pontchar-train Garden Club of New Orleans, LA and was born in Jena, LA and was a life long resident of New Orleans and St. Bernard, LA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124 on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service time. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the charity of your choice.
