Sandra was born on September 19, 1963 in Sandersville, GA to the late Edward Oliver and Lavin (Johnson) Mason. She was a medical billing specialist at North Coast Clinical Laboratory. Sandra was a wonderful Gospel singer and sang on Channel 40 on several occasions. She loved being a water aerobics instructor and a member of the Mermaids at the Sandusky YMCA.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Timothy Stobie, whom she married on July 8, 2000. She is also survived by her daughters, Marla (David) Wahl of Lorain, OH, Christa (Stephen) Kapron of Tiffin, OH, and Kelly Stobie of Broadview Heights, OH; son, Daniel Stobie of Sandusky, OH; grandsons, Mason, Dannon, and one on the way; brother, Gary Brown, Jr. of Sandersville; nephews, Timothy Yates (Stephanie) and Tyler Wilson; great-niece, Aslan Yates; great-nephew, Cooper Yates; and VIP cousin, Melba (Jerrod) Courbat of Sandersville.
In addition to her parents, Sandra is preceded in death by her sister, Tammy Quinn.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 8, at May and Smith Funeral Home from 1:00p.m. until the hour of service.
