Adrian was a graduate of Howard High School located in Wilmington, DE. Although she held many positions, she was employed for several years at Grocery Store Products in Kennett Square, PA. In addition to that, she also loved to clean houses cook. Her last employer was Ministry of Caring where she was loved as a foster grandparent.
"Ms. A" or "Grandmother" as she was affectionately called, was a very witty person. She had no problem speaking her mind and would color her language in any way SHE saw fit! In her leisure time she enjoyed crossword puzzles, word find, Sudoku, number coloring , reading Danielle Steele and Hallmark love stories and most of all she absolutely loved being surrounded by her family. Ms. Adrian was a member and Honorary Mother of the Grow Place under the leadership of Apostle Leonette Collins where she enjoyed hearing the Word of God. Although she was not able to attend physically, she made sure her daughter Vanessa would tune into the LIVE so she could enjoy the singing and the Word.
Ms. Adrian loved her family dearly and was loved even more in return. Ms. Adrian was preceded in death by her parents, George and Nancy Robinson, her loving husband Herman Deshields, her son Kevin Deshields, brother George Robinson and sister Shirley Robinson.
She leaves to cherish her memories, five children; Linda, Michael, Deborah (Clifton), Vanessa and Terri all of Wilmington, DE.; 19 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren, 18 Great-Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great-Great Grandchild and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
