Mrs. Florence Edith Waugh, 77, of 10008 Walnut, died Tuesday at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. She was born in Council Groves, Kan., and lived in this area since 1968. Mrs. Waugh operated the Red Clud Inn in Colorado Springs for 20 years before she retired in 1968. She graduated from Kansas State Teachers College, Emporia, in 1922, and was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority, the Daughters of the Nile, All Saints Episcopal Church, The Mid-America Episcopal Cursillo, and the Order of the Eastern Star. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Audell Billingsley of Lenexa, three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the church; burial in Mount Moriah Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the chapel.
