Joseph Perotka Succumbs Sunday; Funeral Wednesday
Joseph Perotka, 833 North 11th street, died at 2:10 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the McGuire Nursing home. He had been ill the last three years.
He was born in Prague, Bohemia, March 19, 1858, and was married to Josephine Yeykel. She died in 1910.
Mr. Perotka was a member of St. Joseph's church.
Survivors include three daughters - Mrs. Mary Hickey, and Miss Josephine Perotka of Elwood, and Mrs. Anna Bailey of Toledo; 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
The body is at the Robert L. Jackley funeral home, where friends may call after 7 o'clock this evening. Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning at St. Joseph's church. Rev. T.J. Hammes, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be made in Elwood City cemetery.
