ROCHESTER--Janet (Chasse) Gracia, 69, of Rochester died Saturday, March 31, 1990, after a long illness. She was the wife of Homer Gracia and daughter of the late Alfred and Sarah (Anderson) Chasse.
She died at St. Luke's Hospital, New Bedford.
She was born in Biddeford, Maine and lived in Fairhaven before moving to Rochester 20 years ago. She was a 1942 graduate of St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing and was director of the Brandon Woods Adult Care unit for 10 years, until retiring in June of 1989.
Survivors includes her widower; three daughters, Suzanne Ferreira and Sarah Boudreau, both of Fairhaven and Janet Geary of Dartmouth; two sons, Mark of Rochester and Kevin of Fairhaven; a brother, John Chasse of Fairhaven, 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are by the Fairhaven Funeral Home, 117 Main St., Fairhaven.
