Odessa, Wash. -- Mabel C. Parks, 81, a former Palouse resident died Wednesday at Odessa, Wash.
A former schoolteacher, Mrs. Parks was born March 24, 1893 at Wallowa, Ore. She married Harvey Parks in 1914. He died in 1956.
She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Mrs. Parks is survived by three sons; Darrel Parks, Palouse; Vernon Parks of Pullman, and Vestal Parks of Christmas Tres, Ariz.; two daughters, Sally Ott, Erby, Wash. and Mrs. Havella Spanglar, Grangeville, and ten grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted Monday at 10 p.m. at Shorts Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at the Moscow City Cemetery.
