LEVELLAND - Funeral services for Mrs. Jean Cox, 82, of Levelland will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, at George C. Price Funeral Chapel with Rev. Donald Moreland officiating. Burial will follow in City of Levelland Cemetery under direction of George C. Price Funeral Directors. She died at noon Thursday, Sept. 18, 2003, at Covenant Medical Center. She was born Aug. 13, 1921, in Duncan, Okla. In 1940 she married James N. Cox in Duncan, and they moved to Levelland. He died in 1974. Jean worked for Combs Abstract for many years and then worked as a secretary for the Levelland Independent School District until her retirement.
