R. L. Blankenship called by Death: The death of R. L. Blankenship, 68, years old, occurred at four o'clock Saturday morning (Oct. 5, 1935) after an illness at the home of his son, L. V. Blankenship of Atlas. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the residence, conducted by Robert G. Cook of the Church of Christ. Burial will be at the Wooldridge Cem. in the Atlas community. Surviving are two sons, L. V. with whom Mr. Blankenship made his home, and G. D., living in Missouri, three daughters, Mrs. Laura McNeal of Howland; Mrs. Nettie Knox and Mrs. Annie Williams of Oklahoma City. He leaves also two brothers, C. E. Blankenship of Howland and M.L. Blankenship of OK. as well as several grandchildren.
