Aaron Lee Boman
November 27, 1990 ~ January 23, 2022 (age 31)

Aaron Lee Boman, 31, passed away peacefully on Sunday January 23, 2022.

Aaron was born November 27, 1990, in Boise, Idaho. He is the fourth and youngest child of Ronald L. and Cheryl Boman. He is survived by his parents, siblings Julie Boman, Jennifer Mabbott and Joseph Boman, grandparents Larry and Nancy Boman and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

At birth, Aaron had several heart defects. He had a hole in the lower chamber of his heart, Truncus Arteriosus (a rare congenital heart disease) and a Coarctation of the Aorta. Surgery was performed by the late Dr. Robert P. Barnes, which extended and improved Aaron's quality of life.

Aaron also had Down Syndrome. He attended special education classes thru his elementary, junior high and high school years. He earned a high school diploma in 2011 from Meridian High School.

At age 11, it was determined that Aaron would benefit greatly by being in a group home environment. Aaron lived in a group home setting for 20 years. He was loved and well taken care of by Tomorrow's Hope in Meridian and Clearwater Care Center in Twin Falls. Aaron and his family appreciated every staff member who helped him during his lifetime. Aaron was blessed with a biological family, a church family and his group home family.

Everyone that met Aaron quickly loved him even though he had severe disabilities and he could not communicate. Aaron truly enjoyed the simple things in life and loved those around him. He gave the best hugs, and his laugh was pure joy and would make you smile. When he laughed, his entire body would shake.

Aaron was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and he loved going to Primary. Since he was unable to sing himself, he was so happy when the other children would sing. His favorite songs were "Once There Was a Snowman" and "Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam." His family is grateful for the many wonderful and caring teachers, bishops, stake presidents and home teachers that loved him.

Aaron enjoyed going to the YMCA pool and to Krispy Creme to get a free donut. His favorite pastime was playing with his frisbees. Each frisbee was specially modified with mirrors or reflective tape. He loved flipping and spinning them to watch the different light reflections.

Aaron is preceded in death by his grandparents Von and Lorraine Bolander and other relatives, Doug Bolander, Jerold Dougal, Little John, Clayton Bolander and Paige Tinker.

Aaron touched the lives of many for good and accomplished more than his family ever thought possible. He will never be forgotten. He will be buried at the Meridian Cemetery on Monday, January 31, 2022, but that's not entirely true, as he lays buried forever in our hearts.
