Frances B. Neagle, age 85, of Storm Lake, formerly of Fort Dodge, passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022 at the Morningside Rehab & Care Center of Ida Grove.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church of Holstein with the Rev. Doresa K. Collogan officiating. Burial will be at the Holstein Cemetery of Holstein. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the Nicklas D. Jensen Funeral Home of Holstein.

Frances Beverly Neagle was born August 7, 1936 in Correctionville, IA to Harvey and Margaret Goettsch. She graduated from Quimby High School in 1955.

She was married to Norman Beckman. The couple later divorced. She was the Mother of four children. She later married Tom Neagle in 1980 and they made their home in Storm Lake and Fort Dodge before returning to Storm Lake.

During her working career Frances worked as a house cleaner, at many nursing homes, and also restaurants, including Carey's Cafe, lastly working at Buena Vista University before retiring.

Frances was a member of the Storm Lake United Methodist Church. She enjoyed wildlife, gardening, gambling and playing BINGO. She loved her family dearly, and especially enjoyed their 4th of July family gatherings. She was an avid baker and an amazing cook who made the best potato salad ever.

Frances is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tom Neagle; brother, Donald Goettsch and sister, Beth Lingle.
