Palmina "Polly" Catherine Aldous, 94 of Nashville, Tennessee and formerly of Cookeville passed from this life on Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Brookdale Belle Meade Assisted Living. Polly was born Saturday, April 9, 1927 in Sharon, Pennsylvania to the late John Brake and the late Carmella (Cinicolla) Brake.
Polly was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was known for her gourmet cooking especially her Italian cuisine.
Those left to treasure her memory are her children: Keith and Janet Aldous, Jane and Bill Thomas, and Elaine Aldous; grandchildren, Stephen, Tony, Brennan, Brooke, Brant, Catherine, Caitlyn, and Camryn; 7 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law: Seleta Aldous; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
In addition to her parents, Polly was preceded in death by her husband: George Clarence Aldous; son: Pat Aldous; grandson: Aaron Aldous;
Funeral Service were held Saturday, January 29, 2022 from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home. Interment followed in the Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
