Robert H. Carnes, age 89 of Canton, Ohio, went to be with the Lord Wednesday October 3, 2018. Robert was a former member of the Steelworkers Union and an active member of Cathedral of Life Church. Robert was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed life and spending time with family members as well as his grandchilren. He is survived by his loving wife Patricia Carnes, of 57 years and his five children Cheryl Clarke of Canton, Karen Way of Canton, Cindy Caldwell of Canton, Robert (Robbie) Carnes of Canton, and Vicki (Carnes)Blackburn of Canton. He has proceeded in death, by his parents Royal Carnes and Laura(Baker)Carnes both of Canton along with 6 brothers and 7 sisters and also, his oldest son John Peebles of Texas, and granddaughter Kendra Carnes of Canton, Ohio. Services will be held on Saturday October 13, 2018 at 11:00 am at Trinity Gospel Temple at 1612 Tuscarawas St W. Canton, Ohio 44708. Friends come celebrate Robert's life.
