Sharon grew up in Sheboygan and graduated from North High School. A few years later she met the love of her life, David, while he was stationed at Camp Haven located in her hometown. Sharon was an exceptional Mother and homemaker, helping to raise their 4 children in various locations determined by David's honorable and committed loyalty to the United States Army. The family settled in Indianapolis in 1971.
Sharon worked for Hook's Drug Stores in the Accounts Receivable Department for over 20 years; of which later she retired. Sharon was known to be an involved community member. Including past President of the NCO Wives Club in Aberdeen, Maryland, and past President of ABWA-Charter Chapter in Indianapolis.
Her caring nature, beauty, and giving spirit was evident in everything that she did.
She will forever be cherished by her children, Scott Waller of Indianapolis, Lori Waller Worpell (Scott) of McCordsville, and Cindy Akers (Gene) of Fortville.
Sharon was preceded in death by her loving husband, David and son, Jeffery.
