Mrs. Lucille Claude Bishop, 89 of Lake City passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2011. A native of Albert Lea, Minnesota, Mrs. Bishop moved to Lake City during World War II while she was in the Navy and stationed at the Lake City Naval Air Station. She worked for Rountree-Moore Ford as the office manager and retired with over 30 years of employment. Mrs. Bishop was of the Catholic faith and a longtime member of Epiphany Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years and father of her children, Harry Mole Rivers in 1982 and her second husband of 20 years, Vernon Bishop in 2006.
A funeral mass for Mrs. Bishop was conducted February 19, 2011 at Epiphany Catholic Church. Interment followed at Memorial Cemetery with military honors.
