Born in Cleveland County, on March 17, 1938, she was the daughter of the late William Alexander Dixon and Amy Sue Tillman Dixon. She was a retired seamstress from Stamey Stores, Inc and Belk Department Store and was a member of Kadesh United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Robert Lee Dayberry; granddaughter, Amelia McNeilly and brother Roger Dixon.
She is survived by her two daughters, Sara McNeilly and husband Donnie of Casar and Ellen Poston and husband Lewis of Lawndale; two grandsons, Jonathan Poston and wife Suzanne and Greg Poston and wife Jamie; and five great grandchildren, CJ Dyttmer, Lexi Poston, Emily Poston, Harper Poston and Stella Poston.
The Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 4:00PM at Kadesh United Methodist Church with the Rev. Brian Elwell officiating.
Burial will be private.
