SANDUSKY -- Lois I. Kersker (nee Basinger), 83, of Sandusky, died Sunday, April 30, 2000, in Providence Hospital, Sandusky, following a brief illness.
She was born December 23 1916, in Lima.
Survivors include her sons John W. "Jack" Kersker Jr. and Gerald M. Kersker, both of Sandusky; and two grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Kersker Sr., in 1979; sisters Ruth Bishop and Mildred Blake; brother, Herschel Basinger; and her parents, Jerome and Elsie E. (nee Furry) Basinger.
Friends may call Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at the Groff Funeral Home, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. The Rev. Philip Feltman of St. Mary's Catholic Church will officiate.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky.
