William White Jr. was the son of William and Mary (Selden) White of Hadley. He married as his first wife Lydia Patterson on January 28, 1757 at Northfield. Lydia was the daughter of Col. Eleazer Patterson of Northfield. He married as his second wife the widow Martha Chapin on November 1, 1765 at Springfield. He lived in Hadley, Hinsdale, New Hampshire, and Springfield. He died at Hadley and was buried there.
