Frances Lorain Dye, age 94 of Marietta, Georgia passed away January 12, 2022. She was born July 9, 1927 in Marietta, Georgia, the daughter to the late Harley S. Stiles, Sr and Bessie Scroggs Stiles.
Frances lived in Marietta and married the love of her life, Ernest A. Dye. Their marriage was blessed with four children James, Brenda, Cheryl and Timothy. She was a homemaker and loved to cook for her family. Frances attended Lakewood Baptist Church.
Along with her parents, Frances is preceded in death by her husband Ernest A. Dye, daughter Brenda Hawkins, son Timothy Dye, grandson John Hawkins, Jr and seven siblings. She is survived by two loving children, son James Dye (wife Madge), of Carrollton, Georgia and daughter Cheryl Dye Roper (husband Ray), of Acworth, Georgia; son-In-Law Johnny Hawkins, Sr of Kennesaw, Georgia; sister Virginia Pittman; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
The visitation for Frances was held at the Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw, Georgia. The funeral service to honor the life of Frances Dye followed the visitation. A graveside service was at Kennesaw Memorial Park, 1306 Whitlock Ave NW, Marietta, GA 30064.
