Carol Brown Austin was born October 8, 1929, the daughter of Leland and Dora Brown in Ogden, Utah. She passed away on January 12, 2022 at the age of 92.

Carol graduated from Ogden High School and worked for a short time at D.D.O. She married A. LaVoir Austin and together they had six children. Carol watched her family dwindle as her daughters, Vicki Simmons, Debra Potter, and Danica Montalvo preceded her in death. She also endured the death of her husband.

She is survived by children, Wendy Austin Davis (Martin James Davis), Brett Brown Austin, and Brad Brown Austin.

Carol outlived her sisters, Kathleen Davis, Beverly McMurdie, and Bobbie Kimose, as well as a brother, Lee Brown.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, as well as a member of her beloved Cosmopolitan Club.

Carol loved babies and welcomed several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild. She adored and deeply loved them all.

Interment, Trenton, Utah City Cemetery.
