He was also formerly the owner/ operator of Mebane Carpet Co. in Mebane, NC. He was a member of Lee Road Methodist Church.
Survived by two sons, Willis O. Cathcart, Jr. and Bobby Lee Cathcart, both of Greenville; five grandchildren.
Funeral services: Friday, April 17, 1992, graveside at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
