Thomas Maurice Fallon, Age 87, formerly of Mt. Lebanon, died Thursday, August 28, 2003 at his home in Shanksville (Somerset Co.)

Born 1916 in Pittsburgh, Tom's long life was filled by much music and his large family. Tom retired at 75 as Regional Vice President of Iron Age Magazine. A WWII Navy Veteran, Press Club and Duquesne Club member and Pittsburgh's Music Man of the Year 1960, he directed the Tom Fallon Singers chorus through 22 years of charitable performances until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Loretta (Moran); their children Nancy Fallon of Las Vegas, NV, and Jeffrey of Cranberry Twp; step daughters Peg Fallon of Dauphin and Patricia Trehar of Ambridge; his former wife Rita (O'Connor) of Pittsburgh and their children Thomas III of New York City, Ann Dickens of Albany, CA, Daniel of Cleveland, OH, Kathleen Simon of London, England, Patricia Leech of State College, Frank of New York City, Irene LoCasale of Mt. Lebanon, Michael of Mt. Lebanon, Susan Palombo of New Canaan, CT, and Jean Fallon of Greensburg; his sisters Patricia Laufer of Stow, OH, and Mary Joseph of Pittsburgh, Eileen Hilsdon of Middletown, CT, a brother James of Cincinnati, OH; and many grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his brother Jack.

Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9pm Sunday at DEANER FUNERAL HOME, Berlin, with a vigil for the deceased at 8:30pm. Also visitation on Saturday, September 6th at the funeral home from 9:30-10:30am followed by a Memorial Mass at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Baltimore, with Rev. Allen Zeth officiating. Interment, St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
