Judy Lee Hutson Lawson

Judy Lee Hutson Lawson, 61, Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at her home.

Judy was born in Hawkins County and had lived in Kingsport for most of her life. Judy had attended the First Assembly of God.

She loved to garden, work in her flowers and collecting of lighthouses.

She was preceded in death by her son, Joey Lawson and her brother, Randy Chapman.

Survivors include her mother, Blanche H. Salley of Kingsport; one grandson, Matthew John Lawson; one sister, Debby Griffith and husband Mickey of Kingsport; three brothers, Donnie Hutson and wife Margie of Church Hill, Jackie Hutson and wife Sandy of Morristown, and Tommy Hutson and wife Nellie of Kingsport; two special aunts, Ilene Way and Gladys Mowdy; several other aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and special companion, Ronnie Allen of Kingsport.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. A memorial service will follow at 8 p.m. with Pastor Andy Sensabaugh officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to help with expenses.
