A Celebration of Life for Amy Ruth (Martin) Winegeart will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, January 14, 2022, in the Abundant Faith Church, 8132 Highway 112, Hineston, Louisiana 71438 with Pastor Wesley Coon officiating.

Committal service will follow in the Beechwood United Pentecostal Cemetery, 8126 Highway 112, Hineston, Louisiana under the direction of White Oaks Funeral Home, Oakdale.

Visitation will be held in the Abundant Faith Church aka: Beechwood United Pentecostal Church on Thursday, January 13, 2022, from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m., then on Friday, January 14, 2022, from 8 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. in the church.
Amy, 44, of Glenmora, received her Angels wings on Sunday, January 9, 2022, in the Ochsner LSU Health Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was born April 7, 1977, in DeRidder, Louisiana to the union of Velmer Martin Jr. and Joelle (Bjorklund) Martin.

She was a member of Abundant Faith Church, and she loved her church family.
In 1995, she graduated from Fairview High School and continued her education at Northwestern and graduated in 2000. She taught school at DeRidder High School, Stevens High School in Clairemont, New Hampshire, and Singer High School. Amy loved and devoted her life to the children she taught. She was an FBLA advisor for Pitkin High School, who enjoyed taking trips and giving pizza parties for the children.
Amy enjoyed spending her free time attending karate tournaments, watching cooking shows, reading an enjoyable book, playing games, catching up with friends and family on Facebook.

Her parents, Velmer and Joelle Martin; her in-laws, JB and Tressie Winegeart precedes her in death.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, John Wayne Winegeart of Glenmora; one sister, Sheila Martin; nieces and nephews, Rylee Shay Martin, Reuben Ray Martin, Ramy Jade Juelle Martin, and Abigail Melder; along with a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Pallbearers to serve will be Brian Thompson, Eddie Afeman, Henry Afeman, Donald Walker, Dwane Winegeart, and Andy Johnson.

Honorary pallbearer to serve will be Reuben Ray Martin.
