Nannie Lee (Doedy) Trammell was born on May 18, 1922, and passed away on January 9, 2022. She was a lifelong resident of Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Doedy was married to Ken Trammell for 68 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church where she served as the pianist for 25 years. She worked for the Mountain Home Public School system for 36 years starting as the Public School Music Teacher and retiring as the Junior High School secretary in 1992. She was inducted into the Mountain Home Foundation Hall of Honor in 2007.

She is survived by her children, Dawn (Paul) Magness, David (Deb) Trammell, Nan Trammell, and one "adopted" daughter, Becky. She was so proud of her grandchildren, Darren (Melissa) Magness, Curt (Lindsey) Trammell, and Bo (Willa) Trammell; 5 great-grandchildren, Hannah, McKenzie, Riley, Ryan, and Reese.

The family extends a special thank you to her caretakers and the staff at Hospice of the Ozarks.

Visitation will be Friday, January 14, 2022, from 1:00 until service time, at First Baptist Church. Funeral Services for Doedy will be 2:00 pm, Friday at First Baptist Church, with Reverend Tad Rogers officiating. Burial will be in the Mountain Home Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas, with Darren Magness, Curt Trammell, Bo Trammell, Paul King, Richard Argo, and Bryce McKinney as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. William Snow, Max Pyron, Robert Nelson, Larry Nelson, John Boogaart, and Stanley Jones, Jr. Due to current restrictions, masks are required.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church or Hospice of the Ozarks.
