John H. Finlay of Edison died Saturday, January 8th, 2022 at RWJUH @ Rahway. He was 85.
Born in the Bronx, NY formerly of Freeport, RI, Jersey City and Newark before moving to Edison 55 yrs.

Prior to his retirement in 1996, he worked as a Designer with Bell Labs for 38 years working at the Holmdel, NJ
location.
Mr. Finlay Loved salt and fresh water fishing, as well as gardening. John was the past President of the Bell
Labs gardening club. He also was a great story teller.
Predeceased by his son Michael 2013, and a brother Milton.
Surviving are his 4 sons Robert (Sandra), John (Helen), Mark (Tina) and Vincent (Bob); 8 grandchildren and 1
great grandchild.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 12th, 2022 from 4:00pm & 7:00pm. A funeral service time will be announced
