Albert W. Bogdanowicz, 82, of 75 West St. died Tuesday in Cooley Dickinson Hospital. He was the second cook in the dietary department at the former State Hospital. Born and schooled here, he was a lifelong resident, and a communicant of St. John Cantius Church. He was a Army veteran of World War II, and was rated technician fourth class. He received a Good Conduct Medal, a Victory Medal, and a Pacific theater ribbon. He leaves his wife of 60 years, the former Josephine J. Punska; two daughters; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. The funeral will be Friday morning at Czelusniak Funeral Home, followed by a Mass in the church and burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. A calling hour will precede the funeral, and memorial contributions may be made to any charity.
