Vera Mae Holcomb Nunn

Graveside services for Vera Mae Holcomb Nunn, 81, of Vaiden, who died of heart failure, Friday, May 17, 2002 at her home, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton.

Mrs. Nunn was a homemaker. She was also a member of Vaiden United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the United Methodist Women.

She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Billie C. Nunn.

She is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth N. Yates of Vaiden and Wyvonne N. Burden of Greenwood; one son, Wayne Nunn of Senatobia; two sisters, Velma H. Carruth of Aberdeen and Edna Holcomb of Greenwood Springs; five brothers, Lucious L. Holcomb of Amory, Lloyd Holcomb of Colorado, Glatis Holcomb of Saltillo, William Holcomb of Greenwood Springs and Emmett Holcomb of Illinois; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The Rev. Glenn Seefeld will officiate at the services.
Pallbearers will be Todd Yates, Kris Yates, Tio Nunn, Chris Barnett, and Glynn Martin.

Honorary pallbearers will be Edgar Smith and the Rev. John Wilson.

Visitation will be from 5 until 8 this evening at Lee Funeral Home in Winona.

Memorials may be made to the Jones Cemetery Fund, care of Nancy Stockton, 5011 Greenwood Springs Road, Greenwood Springs, MS 38848 or to the Vaiden United Methodist Church.
