Death Friday night followed a stroke suffered 3 days previously by Adam Franklin Lauck of Struble Station, State College when Mr Lauck, succumbed at his home at 7:30 pm. Mr Lauck was born in Ferguson Twp., 22 Sep 1858, the son of Peter & Sarah Lauck. He was married to Miss Emma Gummo, who survives his death, on 25 Dec 1883. He was a member of the Lutheran Church. In addition to his widow, he is survived by 6 children, Charles, George, Earl & Roy all of Pine Grove Mills, Mrs Lettie Johnsonbaugh of State College, & Minnie at home. One brother, William Lauck of Snow Shoe, & one sister, Mrs. W.O. Daugherty of Tyrone, also survive Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Koch Funeral Home, State College, with Rex Homer Gaunt officiating. Adam Franklin Lauck, aged 77 years, a resident of Struble Station, a short distance west of State College, died on Friday night. He was born in Ferguson Twp., a son of Peter Lauck. In addition to the widow, formerly Emma Gummo, the deceased issurvived by six children, namely: Charles, George, Earl, and Roy, all of Pine Grove Mills; Mrs. Lettie Johnstonbaugh, of State College, and Minnie, at home. One brother, William Lauck, of Snow Shoe, and one sister, Mrs. W.C. Daugherty, of Tyrone, also survive his death. Funeral services were held on Monday; burial in Pine Hall Cemetery.
