The Daily Oklahoman, Oklahoma City, OK., Thurs., Mar. 1, 1956, p.42:
"CALVIN - Services for Mrs. Nettie Mae Tharp, 71, who died Monday, were Wednesday in Calvin. Born May 4, 1884, in Missouri, she had lived in the Calvin community since 1911, coming here from Missouri.
Survivors are three sons, Joe and Robert Remschner, San Luis Obispo, Calif.; Albert Remschner, Calvin; three daughters, Mrs. Cora Harrison, Haileyville; Mae McAmis, Oklahoma City; Mrs. Alyce Patti, San Mateo, Calif.; five sisters, Mrs. Julia Scott, Thompson, Mo.; Daisey Caslavsky, and Mrs. Emily Jaquet, both of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Mrs. Lizzie Femmer, Troy, Mo.; Mrs. Myrtle Tomnitz, St. Louis, Mo.; two brothers, Thomas Gold, Brighten, Ill.; and Oswald Gold, Hawk Point, Mo.; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren."
