Master Sgt. (Ret.) Wallace Glenn Hartsell, age 77, of White Pine passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at his residence. He retired from the Tennessee Air National Guard. Glenn was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather, he will be dearly missed. He is preceded in death by his parents, Wallace E. and Beatrice Hartsell. He is survived by his wife, Mary (Cookie) Hartsell; his daughters, Pennie (Harold) Leach, Ann (Patrick) Joyner, and Wally (Chuck) Mantooth; grandchildren, Tyler (Kaitlyn) Wilson, Joe (Rachel) Leach, Lauren (Kilbin) Leach, Hannah Joyner, Anthony Mantooth; great grandchildren, Kaydence Mantooth, Lydia Leach, Braylon Wilson; brother, Ronnie (Willie) Hartsell; sister-in-law, Rita Musick, brother-in-law, Larry Rines, and several nieces and nephews. We want a special thank you to Smokey Mountain Home Health and ALPS for their care, with an extra special thank you to Ashley Hammer. A Military Graveside Interment Service will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at 1:00 pm, White Pine Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Friday, January 7, 2022 from 4:00-6:00 pm at Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine. In Lieu of Flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made to ALPS Day Services, 600 North Daisy Street, Morristown, TN 37814. Farrar Funeral Home strongly encourages all CDC guidelines be followed, including the use of face masks.
