Mae Gertrude Wieringa was the daughter of Geert (George) Wieringa and Ellen Huiting. She was born in Iowa and married Rolly Harlan Morton on 7 Sep 1911 in Cawker City, Jewell,Iowa at the age of 22 yrs. Mae and Rolly were the parents of six children, Ruth Evelyn, Donald Elton, Warren Eugene, Alberta Isabel, Dorothy Mae and Howard Leroy. She died in Moscow in 1963 at the age of 62.
