Lugarda R. Trujillo, age 94, a resident of Albuquerque, NM for the past 5 years and a longtime resident of Las Vegas, NM, passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021 in Albuquerque, NM.
Lugarda was born to Sosteno Trujillo and Dolores Sena on July 8, 1927 in El Pueblo, NM.
Lugarda was a Catholic and a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Las Vegas, NM.
Lugarda was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Lugarda had a big heart with a beautiful smile. Lugarda was loved by everyone.
Lugarda was preceded in death by her husband, Ramón Trujillo, parents, Sosteno Trujillo and Dolores Sena, maternal grandparents, Pedro and Getrudes Sena, sons and daughter, Tony Sena, Nora Baros and Dave Trujillo and grandsons, William Jirón Jr., Lawrence Baros and Anthony López.
Lugarda is survived by her daughters and sons, Helen Olivas and Julian of Holman, NM, Dolores Jirón and William of Cedar Crest, NM, Maryann Gonzáles of Las Vegas, NM, Rita Bulger and Leon of Albuquerque, NM, Ray Trujillo (Dolores), Marcella Bartley (Robert) all of Las Vegas, NM; Lucy López and Javier and Mike Trujillo and Patricia, all of Clovis, NM, 43 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren, thirteen great-great-grandchildren and three great-great-great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Clorinda Trujillo of Las Vegas, NM; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Rosary service will be recited on Monday, January 10, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 9:00 a.m., also at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Las Vegas, NM with Father Rob Yaksich as Celebrant. Interment will follow at the El Embriedrado Cemetery in Los Montoyas, NM. Pallbearers will be Larry Gonzáles, Travis Bartley, Anthony Sena, Andres Baca, Joseph Trujillo and Jesús López Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be all her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren.
