Mrs. Darbonne, 95, of Oberlin, entered eternal rest on Monday, January 3, 2022, in Oberlin, La.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, visiting her family and friends, and drinking a good cup of coffee. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Darbonne; her parents, Emilien and Eunice Miller; one brother, Errol Miller; one sister, Bessie Blessington; and one son-in-law, Ronnie Ramos.

Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include two daughters, Kathleen Ramos, of Oberlin and Elaine Darbonne, of Oberlin; three grandchildren, Christopher Ramos, and his wife, Stephanie, of Oberlin, Paul Ramos, and his wife, Janessa, of Grant, and Steven Ramos, and his wife, Erin, of Youngsville; and seven great grandchildren, Ethan, Landon, Levi, Reed, Lilly, Jake and Millie.
