Harry J. Gerlacher, 72, of 8 Green Lynne Drive, Levittown, died Friday at home.
Born in Tamaqua, Aug. 3, 1922, he was a son of the late Harry J. and Gussie Nahf Gerlacher.
He was an Air Force veteran of World War II. He was a retired welder employed at U.S. Steel Corp., Fairless Hills. He was a member of the Harriman United Methodist Church, Bristol.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Yeager.
Surviving are his wife, Mildred; four daughters, Mildred Slezak, Levittown, Linda Schoen, Shamong, N.J., Wendy Mizenko, Hanover, and Kitty Wirth, Elmer, N.J.; three sisters, Grace Maginn, Darby, Beatrice Sullivan, Newportvine, and Gertrude Swartz, New Jersey; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Tamaqua. Molden Funeral Chapel Inc., Bristol, is in charge of arrangements.
