She was united in marriage to John Dicken 54 years. They were married on the 3rd day of September and to this union was born seven children – three sons and four daughters.

Mr. and Mrs. Dicken moved from Russell County to Taylor County on Smiths Ridge near Robinson Creek for 29 years. After living in that community until in 1942 they moved to South Campbellsville where they made their home.
