Funeral services for Marvin Aycock, 69, Athens, will be held at 2 p.m. today, August 20, at McConnell Funeral Home with Tony Boyles officiating. Burial will be in Germantown Cemetery.
Mr. Aycock died Thursday, August 19, at his residence. He was born November 8, 1929 in Limestone County and was a member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Opal Aycock; three daughters, Connie Aycock, Jealyn Swaim, both of Athens, and LaDon Aycock of Nashville, TN; one son, Jerry Wayne Aycock of Ardmore; and two grandchildren.
Shares stone with wife, Opal Ruf Aycock. They married June 16, 1951.
