Clara Satterfield
      WEISER — Mrs. Clara Jane Satterfield, 69, died Thursday at a Weiser hospital.
      Mrs. Satterfield was born Aug. 27, 1893, at Middle Valley, Idaho, the daughter of Ben and Phebe Shaw. She moved to Cambridge with her parents when she was six years old, then to Indian Valley about 1900, where she attended school until she was 15 years old. The family then moved back to Midvale where she finished school. In 1914, the family then moved to Weiser.
      She married Charles H. Satterfield on Jan. 8, 1916, in Holton, Kans. The couple lived in Havensville, Kans., until Sept. 1916 when they came to Weiser. They also lived in Oxford, Idaho for one year before moving to Rogue River, Ore. in 1920. In 1924 they made their home in Caldwell and on June 10, 1956 moved to New Plymouth. They had resided in Weiser since Feb, 7, 1961.
      Mrs. Satterfield was a member of the Gem of the Mountain Rebekah Lodge No. 5, Caldwell, and the Royal Neighbors of America, Camp No. 3534 of Caldwell.
      Survivors include the husband, Charles, of Weiser; one daughter, Mrs. Charlotte Virginia Lee, Kooskia, Idaho; four grandsons, Robert, Mike John and Dan Lee; one granddaughter, Alita V Lee, one great-grandson, Robert E. Lee. Jr., all of Kooskia; and two sisters, Mrs. Nettie M. Ware, Midvale, and Mrs. Anna L. Strobel, Mulino, Ore.
      Services will be conducted Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the Northam-Jones Chapel, Interment will be in Hillcrest with the Weiser Fidelity Rebekah Lodge No. 7 in charge.
