Memorial services for Clyde M. Reed Jr., 78, Lawrence, the longtime editor and publisher of the Parsons Sun, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church in Parsons, with the Revs. James A. Remer and George Owen officiating. A private burial service is planned in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Reed died Sunday, Jan. 3, 1993, in Lawrence, where he had lived since selling his interest in the Sun in 1982.
