Raymond Clark Clyburn, 79, of Dutch Mills, died Wednesday, December 1st at NW Medical in Springdale AR. He was born January 4, 1942, at Big Springs, TX to Royce E Clyburn and Nellie Bly Dickerson. He held many jobs from working in the oil fields to sales and marketing. He was also a Policeman, a Fireman and an EMT. He served proudly in the United States Army and National Guard. He was an avid marksman and was on the National Guard Rifle Team for several years and received many awards that he was very proud of. While in the National Guard, he served in Operation Desert Storm and received a Bronze Star. He enjoyed traveling and loved visiting with his family and friends. He and his wife Sheri were adopted members of the White River Band of the Cherokee Nation. He enjoyed attending Pow Wows and participating in making knives, leather bags and choker pieces. He was a Patriot and a Proud American. He is preceded in death by his wife Sheri Clyburn in May 2021 and his Brother Mike Clyburn of Tallassee, AL. Survivors are four daughters: Rachel Clyburn of Rogers, Rebecca Clyburn of Bentonville, Xandria Clyburn of Bentonville, Shara Stacks and her husband Curtis Stacks of Farmington. Two grandchildren: Gavin Clyburn of Bentonville and Christopher Stacks of Farmington. Brother Steven M Jordan and his wife Dee Jordan of Rogers. Three sisters: Pat Kirk and her husband Bob Kirk of Rogers, Nellie Clyburn-Messerly of Beryl Utah, Deidre Knight-Matney of Rogers. Military Honors and Burial will be held at Fayetteville National Cemetery on December 29, 2021 at 11:30.
