Sabas L. Carrillo, 80, of Alpine, a railroad laborer, died Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2002.
Mass will be celebrated at 3 p.m. today at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church with the Rev. Rick Ruiz officiating. Burial will be at Holy Angels Cemetery. Arrangements by Geeslin Funeral Home.
He was born in Terlingua. He was Catholic. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Francisca Carrillo of Alpine; sons, Sabas Carrillo Jr., Suzano Carrillo Sr. and Manuel Carrillo Sr., all of Alpine; daughters, Virginia Gonzales of Midland, Anna Ramirez of Lubbock, Oralia Escobedo and Rosie Ruiz, both of Alpine; brothers, Jacinto Carrillo Sr. and Calistro Carrillo, both of Alpine; sister, Jesusita Marquez of El Paso; 30 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
